Tiruchi Corporation appoints consultantto prepare DPR to create new road along the bund of Koraiyar and Kudamuriti

For the purpose of creating a new road from Panjapur to the Tiruchi-Karur Bypass Road on the eastern bund of Koraiyar and Kudamuritti, the Tiruchi Corporation has hired a Bengaluru-based company as consultant.

According to the plan, the Corporation has suggested turning the Koraiyar and Kudamuritti river bund into a motorable road to make it easier for commuters to go from Panjapur, where the integrated bus terminal is being built, to Tiruchi-Karur Bypass Road.

Between Panjapur and Tiruchi-Karur Bypass Route, the length of the road will be roughly 15 kilometres. About nine metres will be the width of the carriageway.
