Thermax signs MoU with Fortescue Future Industries for Green Hydrogen

In order to investigate green hydrogen projects, including new production facilities, in India, Thermax Limited and Fortescue Future Industries (FFI), an Australian green energy and green technology business, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Thermax and FFI want to investigate prospects to collaboratively create fully integrated green hydrogen projects for commercial and industrial customers in India.

This is in accordance with the Agreement. In India, hard-to-abate industries like steel, fertilisers, and refineries would benefit greatly from the industrial-scale production of green hydrogen.

Thermax and FFI’s agreement also takes possible joint development of new manufacturing facilities to assist green energy projects in India into consideration.
