The Central Railway has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the Wardha-Pusad-Nanded new broad gauge (BG) line project in Maharashtra, which includes tunnelling work, earthwork in embankment and minor bridges, including tunnel.
The BG line project’s scope of work includes minor bridges from ch 51250 to ch 60351 metres in length, as well as tunnelling from ch 55151 to ch 58051 (2900 metres in length), with ballast-less track and lining, as well as earthwork in embankment, cutting, including bridge approaches, trolley refuges and side drains and toe walls being built.
The project has a 24-month completion period for the 244.42 crore rupee deal.
