For Bangalore Metro’s proposed 37-kilometer Hebbal – Sarjapur metro line, ten design and engineering firms have filed proposals to develop a Detailed Project Report (DPR).
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) issued a request for proposals for this consulting service in April 2022, only weeks after Karnataka’s Chief Minister confirmed the line’s re-addition to future plans, perhaps Phase 3, at a cost of Rs. 15,000 crore.
This new line will link Carmeleram, Agara, Koramangala, Dairy Circle, Central College, and Armane Nagar in the city’s centre.
The estimate for BMRCL is unclear, however the completion period is indicated as 8 months.
