Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a wholly owned Tata Power subsidiary, has completed a 120MW solar plant at Masenka, Gujarat.
The historic project would generate 305247 MWh per year for the Gujarat government (GUVNL). Approximately 3.81 lakh modules were utilised in the installation, and the project is expected to save up to 1.03 lakh tonnes of CO2 each year. The project employed thin-film glass on glass modules with varied wattages and harnesses with capacities ranging from 440Wp to 460Wp.
