Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd has granted Tata Power Solar a letter of award (LoA) for a solar and battery storage project costing Rs 945 crore (SECI).
Tata Power Solar Systems Limited will build a 100 MW EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) solar project as well as a 120 MWh utility scale battery energy storage system (BESS) as part of the SECI project, according to a company release.
According to the announcement, the project’s overall contract value is around Rs 945 crore.
Within 18 months, the project will be completed.
