Tata Motors said that it has partnered with the Maharashtra government to help the state establish a registered vehicle scrapping facility (RVSF).
The automaker has signed an agreement with the state government to assist in the establishment of a scrappage facility with a recycling capacity of up to 35,000 vehicles per year for end-of-life passenger and commercial vehicles.
The state’s industries, energy, and labour departments will assist in obtaining the appropriate approvals in accordance with the facility’s laws and regulations, according to the corporation.
