The state government of Tamil Nadu has once again delayed the deadline for receiving bids to appoint a consultant to prepare a detailed techno-economic report for the Parandur airport.
The bids were scheduled to be opened on Monday. However, the deadline has been pushed back to the end of the month after consortiums and bidders requested more time, according to an official.
This is the second time the date has been pushed back and more time has been granted.
Bids were supposed to be opened on January 6, but they were delayed by a month because bidders felt they did not have enough time to formulate and apply for the project.
