The Board of Directors of Sutlej Textiles and Industries Limited considered and approved the establishment of a greenfield project in Jammu & Kashmir for 89,184 spindles comprising Cotton Mélange Yarn and PC Grey Yarn, as well as a dye house, at an estimated project cost of Rs. 914 crore, which will be implemented around Q4 FY 2025. Internal accruals and loans will be used to support the project.
The Company’s current yarn manufacturing capacity is roughly 4.21 lakh spindles. The company’s capacity utilisation is roughly 94-95 percent.
Following a successful recovery from the epidemic, the whole Indian textile and apparel industry is currently on a new growth trajectory.
