Sportking India Ltd’s Board of Directors addressed and approved the status of current growth projects at their meeting on April 30, 2022.
The Board addressed the development of the 10 MW Rooftop Solar Electricity Project (Green Energy) at Bathinda Unit for captive power consumption, and was informed that half of the capacity is expected to be operational in May 2022, with the remaining capacity expected to be operational in June 2022.
The Board addressed the status of the installation of additional 40800 spindles at the Bathinda Unit for the manufacturing of polyester cotton yarn, and was informed that work is proceeding according to plan, with commercial operations expected to begin in June/July 2022.
