Sona Resins, a company in the synthetic resins manufacturing sector, is planning to establish a new manufacturing unit in Saykha Industrial Estate, GIDC, Saykha, Bharuch, Gujarat. The project aims to produce various synthetic resins, including 500 MT/M of Ketonic resin, 100 MT/M of Polyamide resin, 100 MT/M of Poly Vinyl Butryl resin, 20 MT/M of Bismuth Vandate and 20 MT/M of Cadmium pigment, with a total production capacity of 740 MT/M. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.44.4 million. As of February 2023, the company has initiated the construction process, which is expected to be completed by June 2023. Additionally, the company is also obtaining the necessary environment clearance for the project.
