SJVN receives 100 MW grid connected solar PV power project

SJVN has won a 100 MW grid-connected solar PV power project from the Punjab State Power Corporation (PSPCL) through a tariff-based competitive bidding process. The project will be built, owned, and operated (BOO) at a cost of Rs 2.69 per unit.

This project’s estimated construction cost is Rs 545 crore.

The project is predicted to generate 245.28 MU in the first year, with a total energy generation of roughly 5,643.52 MU during a 25-year timeframe.

The power purchase agreement (PPA) between PSPCL and SJVN will be inked for a period of 25 years.
