SJVN Green Energy Limited has begun commissioning of its 75MW Solar Power Project situated in Tehsil Kalpi, District Jalaun close to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. By this month’s end, or on October 30, 2022, the entire 75 MW capacity must be operational.

The project will produce 168.34 Million Units (MUs) of energy in its first year, and over the course of 25 years, it will produce roughly 3919 MUs of energy total.

This would contribute to an annual increase in income of about 45.11 crore, improving the top and bottom lines of the balance sheet. With Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) has been made.
