Shree Cement has started a trial run of its new Clinkerisation Unit (Kiln-3) at Baloda Bazar, Chhattisgarh, near Raipur. This clinkerisation machine will supplement the Company’s clinker supply to its Eastern grinding facilities.
Along with the kiln, the company has installed a Waste Heat Recovery Electricity unit, which will provide green power and assist satisfy the company’s power needs.
This brownfield investment at Raipur’s Kiln-3 will create jobs and produce cash, as well as contribute to the state’s general growth and development. The whole investment has been covered by the company’s internal accruals.
Speaking on the occasion, H.M. Bangur, Managing Director of the Company, said, “Shree Cement is committed to continuous growth of the Company and value creation for its stakeholders. Cement is an important material for infrastructure and Kiln-3 supplies will aid the infrastructure development”.
