Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, paid a visit to EKA Mobility, a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries Ltd. that specialises in electric vehicles and technology.
The company just received Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) certification for its 9-meter completely electric bus, and it expects to roll out 100 of these e-buses by the end of current fiscal year. These events coincide with the visit. The car is built to be environmentally friendly and effective in terms of fuel economy, mileage, and power-to-weight ratio. It is based on a zero-emission platform.
The company’s plans to invest in Madhya Pradesh and the future 50-acre electric bus manufacturing facility there were both praised by the chief minister.
