Sharika Enterprises bags contract for Rs 42.10 crore

Sharika Enterprises has been awarded a contract to develop, deliver, install, commission, and maintain the Feeder Automation System as part of the Distribution Management System (DMS) to improve electricity distribution reliability in Jammu and Kashmir.

As an associate partner, General Electric Company’s India Entity GE T & D India was awarded the contract. The deal with Sharika Enterprises, worth Rs 42.10 crore ($ 5.8 million), is one of the country’s largest feeder automation contracts this year.

This provides Sharika Enterprises with a chance to further its commitment to aMake in Indiaa initiative and look forward to manufacturing a significant portion of smart feeder Automation Products in India, substituting massive imports at the time to fulfil technology demand. As a result of this, the firm is set to be a market leader in the field of IoT in the Power Distribution Sector.
