SFC Energy, FC TecNrgy sign MoU to make hydrogen and methanol fuel cells in India

SFC Energy and FC TecNrgy, both of Germany, have signed an agreement to manufacture hydrogen and methanol fuel cells in India.

According to a statement, the company wants to open a production facility, a research and development centre, and a repair centre in Gurugram, Haryana.

They’ve also announced the debut of the EFOY Hydrogen Fuel Cell in India, which is expected to play a key part in reaching the country’s National Hydrogen objectives, which include producing up to 5 million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030.

The EFOY Hydrogen is a modular, emission-free hydrogen fuel cell system that satisfies the highest needs of professional users as a cost-effective substitute for diesel generators in a variety of sectors.
