Sarvani Bio Fuel is planning to establish a new grain-based distillery project in Bodduvaripalem, Korisapadu, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. The project aims to set up a 200 Kilo Litre per Day (KLPD) grain-based distillery, which is expected to cost Rs. 2260 million. The construction activity for the project is scheduled to begin in April 2023 and is expected to be completed by March 2024. As of February 2023, the project is under examination by the Ministry of Environment & Clearance for final environment clearance. The establishment of the grain-based distillery project will not only create job opportunities but will also contribute to the development of the local economy.
