RLDA issues RFP for upgradation of Somnath Railway Station

The RFP (Request for Proposal) for the significant upgrade of Somnath Railway Station was issued by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA).

According to information provided by RLDA, the station will be refurbished using an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) methodology, with an estimated cost of Rs 134 crores. The scope of work will largely encompass substantial railway station upgrades, including but not limited to civil and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) work on the station building.

The goal of station refurbishment is to give passengers with world-class amenities and improve their travel experience. The upgrade project is expected to take two years to complete.
