Ltd. – Power Mech Projects Ltd. JV emerged as the lowest bidder to construct Bangalore Metro Purple Line’s Challaghatta Depot & Workshop.
This station will be built on a section of a 40-acre land tract bordering Mysore Road at the southern end of Reach 2B, which is now under development by Soma Enterprise.
When the old Baiyappanahalli Depot is repurposed to service the 57 km Blue Line linking Silkboard – KR Puram – Kempegowda International Airport, Challaghatta Depot, together with the Kadugodi Depot, will become critical in conducting efficient Purple Line operations in the future years.
