Sanmina Corporation, a provider of integrated manufacturing solutions, has formed a joint venture with Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited (RSBVL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), to establish an electronic manufacturing hub in India.
The joint venture will focus on high-tech infrastructure hardware for emerging markets, including 5G communications, cloud infrastructure, and hyperscale datacenters, as well as medical and healthcare systems, industrial and cleantech, and defence and aerospace.
Sanmina’s existing Indian corporation, Sanmina SCI India Private Ltd, or SIPL, was used to form the joint venture, and the day-to-day operations would be controlled by Sanmina’s current management team in Chennai.
