ReNew Power chairman Sumant Sinha said that the company will spend Rs 30,000 crore over the next two years to expand its solar and wind energy capacities.
“We have 5,000 megawatts (MW) of projects that we are building right now. We have won various auctions… have PPAs (power purchase agreements),” said Sinha, who is also the founder and CEO of the company.
According to him, the company intends to invest almost Rs 30,000 crore over the following two years in expanding solar and wind energy capacities.
One of the biggest independent power producers (IPPs) of renewable energy in the world is ReNew Power, a division of ReNew Energy Global Plc.
