Ramkrishna Forgings intends to upgrade its Sariekella and Dugni forging facilities in Jamshedpur by adding a 7.82 Megawatt rooftop solar project. After the project is finished, the energy produced will be used for captive consumption, lowering the company’s reliance on grid electricity. The undertaking will assist the business in realising its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and advance the overarching objective of a sustainable future. A combination of loan and equity will be used to finance the project’s anticipated $35 million overall cost.
