When Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot granted financial support for Rs 993.51 crore for the building of Jaipur Metro Phase 1-C on November 21, 2022, a significant step was taken.
Jaipur Metro would be expanded in two phases in 2022–2023, from Mansarovar to the intersection of Ajmer Road and from BadiChaupar to Transport Nagar, according to CM Gahlot (Phase 1C).
Currently, BadiChaupar in Jaipur and Mansarovar are connected by the metro.
The Jaipur Metro will connect BadiChaupar and Transport Nagar with this 2.85 km (mile) route. It is 2.26 kilometres long. It will be elevated for 0.59 km and underground for 0.59 km.
