The Rajasthani government has approved Rs 204.81 crore for the Jaipur Metro extension.
The Jaipur Metro’s Phase 1D (Mansarovar to Ajmer Road intersection) construction has received financial permission from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, according to a statement from the official spokesperson. This would increase public accessibility to the facility.
The addition of the Jaipur Metro from Badi Chaupar to Transport Nagar (Phase 1C) and from Mansarovar to the intersection of the Ajmer Road (Phase 1D) had been announced by Gehlot for the years 2022–2023.
Currently, the metro connects Badi Chaupar in Jaipur with Mansarovar.
