The latest 55-bed spoke hospital for the largest paediatric multispecialty and obstetrics & gynaecology children’s care hospital network in India, Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML/Company), has opened in Chennai, Tamil Nadu’s OMR (Sholinganallur).
The company is launching its hub-and-spoke strategy of Hyderabad and Bengaluru at Chennai with the development. The hospital in OMR (Sholinganallur) is intended to act as a spoke hospital and will help Rainbow’s presence in Chennai. This hospital will offer comprehensive paediatric and obstetric services, including level 3 NICU care, outpatient services, and paediatric and obstetric emergency treatment led by consultants 24 hours a day.
The hospital will transfer all complex patients requiring tertiary and quaternary care treatment to the Hub hospital at Guindy thereby emphasizing the multi-disciplinary and collaborative team approach of the RCML brand.
