Jyotiraditya M Scindia, the Union Minister for Civil Aviation, said the Centre aims to build a Greenfield airport in Puri and expand Jharsuguda Airport in Phase II, as well as open two more small airports in Odisha.
Scindia remarked this at the Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda, Odisha, during the Udan Utsav celebrations.
The Minister also said, “The Greenfield Airport at Puri and the Phase II expansion of Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda will commence following responses from the state government.”
