Proposal for second phase land acquisition for Noida airport sent to UP govt

The GautamBuddh Nagar administration has sent the Uttar Pradesh government a proposal for the purchase of property in Jewar for the second phase of the Noida International Airport.

According to the officials, the second phase of the greenfield airport is slated for a 1,365 hectare area, of which 1,185 hectares are held by individuals, including farmers from six villages.

According to the 2013 Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act, the land is being purchased.

The district administration has submitted to the government a proposal for land acquisition for the second phase of the Noida International Airport.
