Prism Johnson has announced that the company’s Board of Directors explored expanding cement production capacity in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, subject to the necessary clearances.
Existing cement capacity is 5.6 million tonnes per year, with an average utilisation of 100.2 percent over the last three years.
Cement grinding capacity expansion of 1.0 million tonnes per year is proposed.
The aforementioned development is projected to cost Rs 250 crore. According to the firm, this is in addition to the anticipated cement capacity expansion of 0.9 million tonnes per year announced on January 28, 2021.
