Under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding to Establish Transmission System for “System Strengthening Transmission Scheme for evacuation of power from solar energy zones in Rajasthan (8.1GW) under Phase-II -Part-G” on a build, own, operate, and maintain (BOOM) basis, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has been declared the successful bidder.
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) dated February 28, 2022.
The transmission system includes a new 765/400kV GIS Substation in Narela (NCT of Delhi), as well as 765kV D/C Transmission Lines in Rajasthan, Haryana, and the NCT of Delhi.
