PNC Infratech, an infrastructure development and construction business, announced that it had been designated the lowest bidder for a 54.43-kilometer road project in Uttar Pradesh by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
According to an exchange filing, the project involves improving and upgrading a portion of NH-731 in Hardoi district to four lanes with paved shoulders using Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).
The project cost was estimated to be Rs 864 crore by the firm. “On March 9, 2022, price bids were opened, with PNC’s bid being the lowest (L1),” it continued.
The project will be built in 30 months and will be operational for 15 years after that.
