The government of Uttar Pradesh plans to build plastic processing parks in the state in response to the rising demand for plastic goods around the world. Of them, the Yamuna Motorway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region would see the construction of a plastic processing park.
The project has been authorised by the YEIDA board, and the planning division is working on the park’s layout. Following approval, project work will begin, and the establishment of industries will proceed more quickly.
The Yogi government’s ambition to build a plastic park along the lines of the UP’s medical device park, toy park, textile park, leather park, and electronic park is remarkable.
Units for processing, manufacturing and other related technology of plastic products will be set up in the plastic park, which will meet the plastic needs of not only Uttar Pradesh, but also the country and the world.
As per the information received, hundreds of plastic units will be set up in an area of 100 acres. The All India Plastic Industries Association had already presented a proposal in this regard, according to a YEIDA official. The plan has also been approved by the board of YEIDA.
