A new 23.51 km metro rail line (Orange Line) with 21 stations linking Ambabari to India Gate is proposed as part of the Jaipur Metro Phase-2 project (Sitapura Industrial Area).
The two Line-1 (Pink Line) of the Jaipur Metro extension projects will soon begin, according to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
From Mansarovar to BadiChopar, the Line-1 metro travels a distance of 11.4 kilometres.
The new phase will add 2.85 km to Jaipur’s existing pink line, with 0.59 km elevated and one station at Transport Nagar, and 2.26 km underground through the ancient city and one at RamganjChaupar.
The Mansarovar side of the Ajmer Road will also be expanded by about 1.3 km.
