Petronet LNG Ltd, which operates the world’s biggest LNG import terminal, is considering building a fourth plant in the nation to fulfil expanding energy demand in Asia’s third-largest economy, according to its CEO A K Singh.

Petronet runs a 17.5 million-tonne-per-year LNG import plant in Gujarat and a 5 million-tonne-per-year facility in Kerala. It plans to build a floating LNG import facility in Gopalpur, Odisha, for Rs 1,600 crore over the next three years.
