For smooth transit to and from Patna Junction, a multi-story “multi-modal transport hub” has been proposed on 10 acres of land at Bakri Bazaar next to Patna GPO.
Before beginning the bidding process, the idea is anticipated to be presented for approval at the Patna Smart City Limited (PSCL) board meeting after this one. The proposal will combine numerous transportation options under one roof, including public bus service, cars, and private taxis.
A comprehensive project report has been written. The Bihar State Building Construction Corporation Limited (BSBCCL), according to an official, will create the final building design.
It is a part of the railway station area redevelopment project of the PSCL, under which a pedestrian subway and a bridge connecting to multi-level car parking and activity centre will come up at the Station Road.
