Page Industries, a manufacturer of clothing, announced that it would spend Rs 290 crore to build two plants in Telangana.
A total of 7,000 local youth will be employed by the new units. According to a press statement, it would produce clothing including athletic and athleisure wear.
The declaration was made following a meeting between Telangana Industries Minister K T Rama Rao and the company’s top management team, which was led by V Ganesh, Managing Director.
It stated that Page Industries’ two proposed locations are at the WhitegoldSpintex Park Facility in Ibrahimpatnam and at Mulugu in the Siddipet district.
