Over 400 MoUs worth Rs 1,25,000crore are expected to be signed during the DefExpo 2022 scheduled to be held between October 18 to 22 in Gandhinagar.
This is a 200% rise compared to the previous events, said Secretary of Defence Dr Ajay Kumar during a press conference at Gandhinagar.
Dr Kumar said the expo has 1,328 exhibitors compared to 670 exhibitors during the last event.
“Over 25 defence ministers have confirmed their presence and more are likely to give confirmation. Representatives of 75 countries will remain present during the expo,” he said.
