One Moto, the first British premium EV brand in India, has signed an MoU with the Telangana government to establish a manufacturing facility in the state.
The new plant will be built on the outskirts of Hyderabad, which is quickly becoming a significant market for electric vehicles as the government pushes forward with supportive legislation and infrastructure.
The company intends to invest up to Rs 250 crore in the production unit, which will result in the creation of 500 direct and 2,000 indirect employment. This development will have broader implications in all directions for the state’s overall electric mobility ecosystem development.
