With a USD 250 million investment, Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) will build the world’s largest electric three-wheeler manufacturing facility in Karnataka. The new factory will be completed in three phases and will be capable of producing one million electric three-wheelers per year.
To develop the OSM Megafactory, the corporation will raise funds in the form of both stock and debt. Production is expected to begin in FY 24.
The new factory will be supported by its own powertrain and battery pack supply chain. OSM is also in active talks with existing and new suppliers about establishing auxiliary manufacturing sites around the OSM Megafactory.
