In response to the increased interest in electric vehicles, real estate developer Omaxe, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), and bp have teamed up to create a battery charging infrastructure for them.
Reliance BP Mobility Limited (RBML) is a joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and bp in India that operates under the ‘Jio-bp’ brand. Omaxe has had a presence in a number of locations across North and Central India over the past 34 years as a real estate player.
The firms stated in a joint statement on June 9 that they had completed a varied variety of real estate projects, including integrated townships, offices, malls, and high-street developments.
Omaxe properties across Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, New Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Patiala, Amritsar, Jaipur, Sonipat, and Bahadurgarh will be retrofitted with EV charging and swapping infrastructure by Jio-bp, according to the release.
