Under the supervision of Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) cleared seven industrial projects totaling Rs 511.19 crore, creating employment prospects for around 6,402 people in the state.
The council authorised projects in labor-intensive industries such as textiles and apparel and paper.
The SLSWCA approved Ambattur Fashions’ plan to build a Men’s and Women’s garment manufacturing plant in Chandaka, Khorda district, for an investment of Rs 51 crore, which will employ over 4,700 people.
