Nuberg EPC bags 1650 NPK fertiliser plant project

Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) in Kochi is expanding its NPK fertiliser production.

On an EPC-LSTK basis, Nuberg EPC has been selected to construct a brownfield 1650 TPD NPK plant at FACT-Cochin Division, boosting the whole complex fertiliser production capacity to 3,650 TPD. One of India’s earliest large-scale fertiliser manufacturers was FACT, a government-owned firm.

FACT’s current Cochin Division (CD) production plant at Ambalam Edu, Kerala’s Ernakulam district, would be the site of the NPK Plant.

This project will be carried out by Nuberg EPC, who will use INCRO S.A.’s pre-neutralizer with pipe reactor (PN+PR) technology (Spain). Depending on demand, the plant would be able to create several grades of NPKs.
