At the Shajapur Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh, the engineering company NTPCGE Power Services Pvt Ltd has won contracts to construct the balance of systems for two power plants with a combined capacity of 325 MW.
According to a statement from the company, NTPCGE Power Services Pvt Ltd (NGSL) has received two awards from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC-REL) for the engineering, procurement, and construction of balance of systems at two sites with a combined capacity of 105 MW and 220 MW, respectively, as well as for three years of operation and maintenance.
The supporting devices utilised in the setup and operation of the primary power producing unit are collectively referred to as the “balance of system” at a solar energy facility.
According to the statement, the projects are located at Shajapur Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh, which is being developed by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Ltd (RUMSL).
