Out of the 230 MW Ettayapuram Solar PV Project in Tamil Nadu, NTPC Limited reported that the first part capacity of 162.27 MW was successfully commissioned.
Following the commissioning, the Ettayapuram Solar PV plant is claimed to be in commercial operation as of December 10, 2022.
As a result, NTPC’s installed and operational capacity for standalone units has increased to 57801.27 MW and for group units to 70416.27 MW.
The largest energy company in India, NTPC, was founded in 1975 to hasten the country’s electricity development.
In joint ventures, NTPC is working on nine coal-based, four gas-based, eight hydro-based, and five renewable energy projects.
