The Noida administration has announced the purchase of property for a spur road connecting the Delhi-Mumbai expressway and the future Jewar airport. The DND and the Faridabad-Ballabgarh bypass will also be accessible via the connection road.
The National Highways Authority of India had urged the district government to begin purchasing private land parcels on its behalf on October 12.
Additional District Magistrate (land acquisition) Balram Singh said,”We have got the list of private plots that will be needed to construct the spur road. The state government has asked us to expedite work on the acquisition process. People owning land and others have been given 21 days to file their objections or suggestions. The acquisition notification has been pasted on the Jewar tehsil building and published in newspapers.”
