The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) expects the Metro Mall construction to be finished in 30 months after a two-year delay.
The project department of the NMC has submitted a proposal to the standing committee.
The NMC recently shortlisted a private agency that promised to pay Rs10 crore more than the Rs45 crore bid price.
The NMC had issued tenders for the construction of an eight-story building featuring a shopping mall, restaurant, and multiplex with a rooftop café.
The mall, which is part of the Orange City Street project’s first phase, will be a public-private partnership.
