Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stones for 46 national highway projects in Karnataka, with a total investment of Rs 19,930 crore.
The national highway projects would strengthen interstate road connection from Belgavi, Karnataka to Maharashtra and Goa, with a total length of 238 km and an investment of Rs 3,972 crore.
He dedicated and laid the foundation stone for 26 national highway projects in Hubbali. The 26 motorways, totaling 925 kilometres and costing Rs 12,795 crore, will improve intrastate connectivity by allowing for seamless, safe, and speedier transit from villages to district headquarters and Bengaluru.
