Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, opened the Sagar Greenfield Link Road on Monday, giving Madhya Pradesh a significant infrastructure boost. The cost of the road corridor is estimated to be around Rs. 11,300 crore.
In the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh, the Union Minister also lay the cornerstone for 18 national highway projects that will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 6,800 crore. These 550 km long projects are intended to improve road connectivity in one of the most underdeveloped areas of the nation.
