The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has issued a tender for the turnkey construction of the 1,856 MW Sawalkot Hydroelectric Project in the Ramban Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir’s union territory.
The work must be completed in 120 months for a total contract value of Rs 12,190.5 crore.
NHPC Limited is an Indian government hydropower board under the ownership of Ministry of Power, Government of India that was incorporated in the year 1975 with an authorised capital of ₹2,000 million.
