Adani Infra, Tata Power Solar Systems, and SSEL-ASR JV have been granted engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts for Rs 6,604.42 crore by the state-run NHPC for a 1,000 MW solar project and transmission line. According to a BSE filing, the completion period is 18 months.
Under Tranche-III of CPSU Scheme Phase-11, NHPC Ltd has awarded EPC contracts for the development of grid linked solar PV project (1,000 MW capacity) and transmission line for electricity evacuation to ISTS sub-station, as well as full operations and maintenance for 5 years.
It stated that letters of award were given with a total contract price of Rs 6,604.42 crore.
